Job Description
People Operations Manager scaling HR systems and compliance for Habitat Health’s PACE healthcare model. Leading lifecycle processes, AI-enabled workflows, vendors, and multi-state benefits operations.
Responsibilities:
- Create and lead scalable processes for onboarding, offboarding, job changes, and team member lifecycle processes
- Leverage AI tools and systems to optimize and scale People Operations workflows
- Drive policy creation, audit readiness, and compliance governance across a multi-state footprint, with deep California expertise
- Create and optimize physician onboarding programs with Executive Directors and Clinical Leadership
- Manage outsourced vendors including home care, transportation, LOA support, and other ancillary partners
- Monitor multi-state employment law and translate regulatory changes into proactive policy recommendations
- Lead annual Open Enrollment, including team member communications, system readiness, benefits compliance, and vendor coordination
- Partner with the People Business Partner on complex team member questions and requests
- Advise managers and team members on policy questions and people challenges
Requirements:
- 5+ years of people operations/HR experience in a fast-growing environment
- California and multi-state employment law experience
- Experience building policies and handbooks
- Strong working knowledge of California employment fundamentals, including wage/hour, leaves, and recordkeeping
- Hands-on experience using AI tools and systems to improve process efficiency and scale
- Exceptional data analytics and reporting skills utilizing various HR systems
- Hands-on experience with Rippling, Greenhouse Onboarding, and partnering with PEOs
- Experience owning end-to-end open enrollment processes and communications
- Vaccination or signed declination form, and compliance with masking requirements, for applicable participant-care settings
- Compliance with applicable infection control protocols, PPE requirements, and vaccination requirements associated with the role and work location
- Authorization to work in the United States
