Job Description
Phlebotomy operations specialist managing national phlebotomist networks for BillionToOne’s prenatal diagnostics. Coordinating staffing, scheduling, vendors, supplies, and Patient Service Center launches.
Responsibilities:
- Recruit, place, and manage In-Office Phlebotomists on a national scale
- Recruit, place, and manage Patient Service Center phlebotomists across the growing site network
- Support setup of new Patient Service Centers, including site identification, staffing, and launch readiness
- Build and maintain relationships with phlebotomy vendors and site partners nationwide
- Own scheduling for In-Office and Patient Service Center phlebotomists, ensuring coverage and minimizing service gaps
- Manage end-to-end onboarding, including credentialing, training coordination, and compliance documentation
- Manage phlebotomy supply inventory across sites
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment
- Serve as operational point of contact for Sales on phlebotomy-related needs for the NIPT product line
- Provide timely, accurate responses to sales inquiries regarding phlebotomy coverage and site status
- Deliver patient-first operational support
Requirements:
- Experience in phlebotomy operations, healthcare staffing, or vendor management; healthcare/diagnostics industry preferred
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities across a distributed, national network
- Strong organizational skills and comfort owning scheduling and logistics at scale
- Clear, proactive communication and ability to work cross-functionally with sales, contracts, and operations teams
- Comfort working with data and operational metrics to track network performance
- 4-year college degree or equivalent experience required
- Willingness to travel up to 25% to help set up and launch new Patient Service Centers
- Experience with scheduling, staffing, or vendor-management software such as Salesforce or similar CRM/logistics tools is nice to have
- Background in prenatal (NIPT) or oncology diagnostics is nice to have
- Experience opening or launching new Patient Service Center sites is nice to have
- Project management experience across distributed, multi-site teams is nice to have
