Job Description

Coordenador de PLD, antifraude e compliance na WEpayments, empresa de pagamentos. Liderança de equipes, monitoramento transacional, prevenção a fraudes e suporte regulatório e jurídico.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, train, and develop the team of AML, Fraud, and Legal analysts and interns
  • Ensure team engagement, efficient workload allocation, and achievement of departmental targets
  • Coordinate and enhance Due Diligence and Know Your Customer/Business/Employee/Supplier (KYC, KYB, KYE, KYS) processes
  • Oversee transaction monitoring to identify unusual activity
  • Coordinate in-depth alert investigations and ensure reporting to COAF and BACEN
  • Coordinate transaction fraud prevention and detection strategies
  • Calibrate rules and risk engines, balancing security with customer experience
  • Support the Executive Board on corporate and regulatory matters
  • Serve as the focal point for the preliminary review of contracts and liaise with external law firms
  • Develop, review, and ensure the implementation of AML/CTF policies, Fraud Prevention Manuals, and the Code of Ethics/Conduct
  • Promote a Compliance culture throughout the company

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Economics, Accounting, or a related field
  • Solid experience in AML/CTF and/or Fraud Prevention within Payment Institutions, Fintechs, Banks, or Acquirers
  • In-depth knowledge of BACEN and COAF regulations and circulars related to AML/CTF and payment arrangements
  • Previous experience leading or technically coordinating multidisciplinary teams
  • Practical knowledge of investigative analysis methodologies, transaction monitoring, and anti-fraud rule calibration
  • Strong working knowledge of Corporate Law, Contracts, and Brazil’s General Data Protection Law (LGPD)
