Job Description
Presales Systems Engineer owning technical sales for Everpure’s Enterprise Data Cloud. Supporting PACA customers through architecture, demos, proofs of concept, and RFP responses.
Responsibilities:
- Own the technical relationship across the territory through discovery, architecture, demos, proofs of concept and technical closure on the Enterprise Data Cloud platform
- Build activity, identify new use cases and create opportunities in large accounts
- Position services and consumption models, including Evergreen//One and storage-as-a-service, with IT and finance stakeholders
- Work with Account Executives and regional channel partners
- Own technical responses to RFPs and RFIs
- Contribute to a national SE team by sharing knowledge and winning across districts
- Cover the PACA region from Marseille or Aix-en-Provence
- Spend around half or more of the time with customers, with regional travel and occasional trips to Paris for team meetings
Requirements:
- 5+ years in a field presales / Systems Engineer / Solutions Engineer role, ideally with a territory or multi-account scope
- Solid general infrastructure culture: compute, virtualisation, networking, data protection, and how they fit together in real customer environments
- Experience selling services, subscription or consumption models
- Senior, autonomous way of working; initiative and self-directed agenda management
- Curiosity and ability to learn new technology quickly
- Based in or near Marseille / Aix-en-Provence, with a driving licence
- Fluent French and professional English
- Enterprise storage experience is nice to have, not required
- Background at an infrastructure, data-protection or open-source vendor, or at a services company is nice to have
- Existing relationships with IT teams in the PACA region are nice to have
