Job Description
Principal IT Consultant driving innovation and business value through cloud technologies and cybersecurity. Leading transformational initiatives as a trusted advisor for executive leadership.
Responsibilities:
- Drive Strategy & Advisory: Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership on IT strategy and digital transformation, developing enterprise roadmaps and governance models.
- Design & Implement Solutions: Lead large-scale IT projects, including cloud migrations, system integrations, and modernization programs, ensuring designs adhere to best practices and compliance standards.
- Provide Technical Subject Matter Expertise: Offer guidance on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), cybersecurity posture improvements, and database initiatives including SQL development and performance tuning.
- Foster Innovation & Automation: Lead automation initiatives using tools such as PowerShell, batch scripting, and SQL Jobs, while promoting modern software engineering and DevOps practices.
- Mentor & Lead: Build technical and professional capabilities by coaching junior consultants and internal staff, developing training materials and best practice guides.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Partner with technology leadership, security teams, and business operations to ensure seamless solution deployment and alignment.
- Manage Specialized Platforms: Oversee configuration and optimization for environments such as Quicksolver, CXP, ImageRight, and IIS.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in IT consulting or enterprise technology roles with a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Technical Depth: Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), networking, security, and enterprise solution architecture.
- Development Skills: Experience in SQL Server databases, C#/.NET development, and process automation.
- Strategic Acumen: Strong ability to translate technical solutions into measurable business impact and navigate ambiguity in evolving environments.
- Communication: Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to facilitate sessions with senior leaders.
- Preferred Certifications: AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Architect, PMP, or CISSP.
