Job Description

Principal Product Manager owning strategy for Schema App’s enterprise semantic data and AI search SaaS platform. Leading platform decisions, customer discovery, GTM outcomes, and PM coaching.

Responsibilities:

  • Own multi-quarter product strategy and roadmap for a major product line
  • Connect shifts in AI search, answer engines and agents to product bets
  • Make product trade-offs using usage data, customer feedback and business impact
  • Shape platform, integration and API design and exposure to customers and partners
  • Partner with leadership on pricing and packaging
  • Coach and mentor product managers, including a PM-in-training
  • Help evolve roadmap, prioritization and go-to-market frameworks with the Product Community of Practice
  • Lead discovery with enterprise customers and prospects
  • Represent the roadmap in executive and customer conversations
  • Bring customer evidence into strategy and prioritization
  • Partner with Marketing and Customer Success on positioning, launches, enablement and adoption tracking
  • Use AI copilots and agentic tools with judgment about verification and trust
  • Develop a point of view on how AI answer engines and agents retrieve and act on structured content
  • Report to the COO and co-founder

Requirements:

  • 8+ years as a product manager
  • Deep hands-on experience in B2B SaaS
  • Ownership of a product line or product strategy across several quarters, with shipped outcomes and measurable impact
  • Track record of coaching and mentoring product managers, including junior or early-career PMs
  • Experience with pricing and packaging, or platform/API products
  • Executive presence with enterprise customers
  • Strong cross-functional partnership with Engineering and GTM teams
  • Data-informed decision-making using adoption metrics, customer behaviour and usage trends
  • Technical competency sufficient for architecture and feasibility discussions with Engineering
  • Nice to have: depth in AI, semantic web, knowledge graphs or data platforms
  • Nice to have: experience with SEO, martech, content platforms or answer-engine optimization
  • Nice to have: experience scaling product frameworks or a product community of practice
  • Nice to have: experience running customer-facing webinars, enablement or launch programs
  • Nice to have: technical background in computer science or engineering, former engineering, solutions or analytics experience
  • Nice to have: startup or scale-up experience
  • Ability to work remotely in Canada
