Job Description
Principal Software Engineer building healthcare technology for Devoted Health members. Improving claims processing, operational efficiency, and provider relationships across Go, PostgreSQL, AWS, and related systems.
Responsibilities:
- Build product features across a range of technologies
- Work with subject matter experts to understand and design solutions to improve members' lives
- Work with other members of the technology team to improve the technology platform
- Support timely and accurate claims processing and payment
- Work closely with the operations team to increase operational efficiency, foster strong provider relationships, and ensure members are well cared for
Requirements:
- 5+ years working as an individual technical contributor
- Ability to work in a startup, fast paced environment
- Experience coupled with a willingness to learn new things
- Comfort with uncertainty and a desire to be close to business problems
- Desire to contribute individually, with the ability both to self-direct work and to collaborate with others on the technology team
- Understanding of many technologies down to first principles, and a desire to add more to the list
- Experience with specific stack components is a bonus but not required
