Job Description
Navan Pro Consultant managing client travel bookings, fares, hotels, and savings. Delivering high-touch business travel services through Reed & Mackay and Navan technology.
Responsibilities:
- Build relationships and understand clients’ needs while delivering high-touch service
- Provide dedicated, consistently high-level service tailored to individual client requirements
- Manage workload and meet client and company deadlines
- Service different client industry sectors across the wider business
- Provide innovative, consultative travel advice
- Use R&M and Navan technology proficiently and share knowledge with clients and team members
- Deliver air, rail, car rental, ferry, black car and charter reservations
- Manage a full client portfolio to R&M and Navan standards
- Build meaningful internal and external relationships
- Identify and implement opportunities to add value to bookings
- Apply fare types and ticketing methods and maintain knowledge of industry innovations
- Identify cross-market and local inventory differences with the International Fares Desk
- Procure hotel rates using GDS and non-GDS channels and supplier relationships
- Monitor bookings for savings opportunities through trip completion
- Apply client policies to drive compliance and enhance traveller experience
- Oversee client experience using mixed-mode booking tools and provide first-line support for offline/online bookings
- Provide cost-effective travel solutions and comply with client policies and guidelines
- Achieve SLAs for all accounts
- Interact regularly with overseas colleagues
- Apply quality-control procedures in line with company and GREC requirements
Requirements:
- Previous VIP experience is preferred
- Skills assessment results will be considered
- Exceptional telephone manner and written skills
- Demonstrated ability to use available resources effectively and complete tasks by agreed deadlines
- Proven experience in a core business travel environment
- Fully conversant with one or all GDS systems: Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus
- Experience with mixed mode booking tools and first-line product support for offline/online bookings
- Comprehensive knowledge of the travel industry and market products, including aircraft types and cabins
- Knowledge of low-cost carriers and their available products
- Fully conversant with rail, black car, LCC, OTA booking systems
- Team-player approach in an office environment
- Experience using MS software packages
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent attention to detail
- Enthusiastic approach and willingness to learn
- Willingness to attend and complete all relevant training
- Ability to achieve individual and team-based business objectives
