Job Description
Product and engineering talent building Kota’s multi-provider, multi-country benefits platform. Opportunities span full-stack engineering, APIs, integrations, product, design, leadership, and AI-native work.
Responsibilities:
- Build a pool of exceptional product and engineering candidates for Kota as the company grows
- Consider candidates across product engineering, API, integrations, product leadership, product design, leadership, AI-native, and other relevant roles
- Product engineers own problems end to end and make both product and technical decisions
- Develop API products for Embed that other developers rely on
- Work on multi-provider, multi-market integrations and systems outside the company's control
- Own product vision and strategy and ship products from nothing
- Design complex workflows with high attention to detail
- Lead engineers or designers while staying close to the work
- Use AI to plan, build, and review work critically
- Move matched candidates into a live hiring process or retain them in the talent pool for future openings
Requirements:
- Exceptional product, engineering, API, integrations, product leadership, product design, leadership, or AI-native experience
- Engineering roles are full stack; integrations work expects a backend lean
- Product engineers make product decisions and engage with customers
- API candidates have built products used by other developers
- Integrations candidates have experience with multi-provider, multi-market systems
- Product leads have owned vision and strategy and shipped something from nothing
- Product designers are comfortable with complex workflows and detailed states
- Leadership candidates have led engineers or designers while remaining close to the work
- AI-native candidates use AI to plan, build, and review critically
- Right to work in the country of residence without visa sponsorship
