Job Description

Delivery Lead guiding AWS migration engagements for RevStar, a cloud-native modernization consultancy. Owning technical delivery, client partnerships, and cross-functional execution from kickoff through stabilization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead AWS migration projects across discovery, planning, execution, cutover, and post-migration stabilization.
  • Partner with Solutions Architects and Engineers on migration strategies, dependency mapping, and rollback plans.
  • Participate in backlog refinement, estimation, and workstream sequencing.
  • Serve as the primary delivery point of contact for migration clients.
  • Manage client expectations, scope, risks, and escalations.
  • Lead internal and external status calls, aligning timelines and success criteria with client objectives.
  • Schedule and lead Quarterly Business Reviews and identify follow-on modernization and expansion opportunities with Sales and Solutions Architecture.
  • Oversee project assignments and team allocations across active engagements.
  • Monitor pending sales forecasts to keep recruiting informed.
  • Lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, DevOps, QA, and Product.
  • Maintain clean delivery milestones and transition phases.
  • Enforce quality gates, migration playbooks, and delivery standards using Jira and Azure DevOps.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years in technical delivery leadership, engineering leadership, or consulting within cloud or modernization spaces.
  • Solid grasp of cloud infrastructure fundamentals (networking, compute, storage, IAM).
  • Hands-on experience running large-scale cloud migrations.
  • Full lifecycle Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
  • Proven track record of driving clarity through technical ambiguity.
  • Active AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect Associate/Professional) — nice-to-have.
  • Experience in regulated frameworks (HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI) — nice-to-have.
  • Professional consulting background — nice-to-have.
