Job Description
Delivery Lead guiding AWS migration engagements for RevStar, a cloud-native modernization consultancy. Owning technical delivery, client partnerships, and cross-functional execution from kickoff through stabilization.
Responsibilities:
- Lead AWS migration projects across discovery, planning, execution, cutover, and post-migration stabilization.
- Partner with Solutions Architects and Engineers on migration strategies, dependency mapping, and rollback plans.
- Participate in backlog refinement, estimation, and workstream sequencing.
- Serve as the primary delivery point of contact for migration clients.
- Manage client expectations, scope, risks, and escalations.
- Lead internal and external status calls, aligning timelines and success criteria with client objectives.
- Schedule and lead Quarterly Business Reviews and identify follow-on modernization and expansion opportunities with Sales and Solutions Architecture.
- Oversee project assignments and team allocations across active engagements.
- Monitor pending sales forecasts to keep recruiting informed.
- Lead cross-functional teams across Engineering, DevOps, QA, and Product.
- Maintain clean delivery milestones and transition phases.
- Enforce quality gates, migration playbooks, and delivery standards using Jira and Azure DevOps.
Requirements:
- 3+ years in technical delivery leadership, engineering leadership, or consulting within cloud or modernization spaces.
- Solid grasp of cloud infrastructure fundamentals (networking, compute, storage, IAM).
- Hands-on experience running large-scale cloud migrations.
- Full lifecycle Agile/Scrum delivery experience.
- Proven track record of driving clarity through technical ambiguity.
- Active AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect Associate/Professional) — nice-to-have.
- Experience in regulated frameworks (HIPAA, SOC 2, PCI) — nice-to-have.
