Job Description
Product Manager at Vidispine, defining product strategy and collaborating with teams to deliver solutions. Engage with customers and monitor market trends in a remote setting.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to product strategy, roadmap planning, and ongoing product evolution
- Support pricing, packaging, and positioning decisions
- Help identify opportunities across media and video technology ecosystems
- Monitor industry trends in media technology, such as streaming, content workflows, and cloud platforms
- Support competitor analysis and market positioning
- Engage with customers to understand workflows, challenges, and priorities
- Work with cross-functional teams to align on product priorities and delivery
- Partner with engineering and R&D teams to deliver product features
- Participate in industry events, customer sessions, or product discussions as needed
Requirements:
- Experience in product management or related roles (e.g., product owner, solutions engineering)
- Experience working with software products, platforms, or technical solutions
- Exposure to media, video, or content workflows is helpful but not required
- Ability to balance business, customer, and technical considerations
- Understanding of product development processes and lifecycle management
- Familiarity with cloud-based systems, APIs, or platform-based solutions
- Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Media Technology, Business, or related field, or equivalent experience
- Additional business or product-related education is beneficial but not required
