Job Description
Product Manager shaping 3E’s chemical and workplace safety software portfolio. Translating customer and business needs into measurable product outcomes across delivery and adoption.
Responsibilities:
- Own product initiatives from problem discovery and requirements through prioritization, planning, delivery, adoption, and continuous improvement
- Translate customer, market, and business needs into product requirements, priorities, and solution approaches
- Clarify needs, risks, trade-offs, and measures of success for ambiguous or inherited problems
- Balance customer value, business goals, technical constraints, competing priorities, and timing
- Partner with Engineering and Product throughout planning, refinement, development, testing, release, and post-launch improvement
- Provide context, requirements, and success criteria to ensure teams solve the right problems
- Evaluate workflows, applications, and improvement opportunities; define requirements and paths forward
- Own launch readiness, adoption tracking, and ongoing improvement for assigned product areas
- Develop customer and user understanding through research, feedback, market discovery, and customer-facing partnerships
- Use customer insights, market context, and business priorities to inform decisions and identify opportunities
- Partner with Customer Experience, Sales, Marketing, subject matter experts, and operational teams on connected solutions
- Drive measurable outcomes including adoption, customer satisfaction, retention, and business impact
- Communicate product direction, decisions, trade-offs, and progress to technical, commercial, customer-facing, and leadership audiences
- Build alignment, manage stakeholder expectations, and lead through influence
- Act as business owner for assigned product areas and take accountability beyond feature delivery
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in product management, EHS, chemical safety, regulatory compliance, product stewardship, or a related field
- B2B SaaS product management, commercial, or customer-facing experience, ideally with enterprise platforms supporting complex regulatory, content-driven, or service-based solutions
- Experience taking customer or business problems from discovery and requirements through prioritization, planning, and delivery, with a focus on measurable outcomes
- Experience evaluating, implementing, improving, or replacing business software or applications
- Ability to work independently, bring structure to ambiguity, and create a path forward when the solution is not fully defined
- Experience working cross-functionally and influencing stakeholders without formal authority while balancing customer needs, commercial priorities, technical constraints, and timing
- Strong communication skills to translate customer and stakeholder needs into clear requirements and solutions for technical and non-technical audiences
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, with ability to adapt as needs and priorities change
- Experience using AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and support day-to-day work, with sound judgment validating and applying AI-generated outputs
- Based in the US in a state where 3E is authorized to hire
- Eligible to work without sponsorship
- Helpful but not required: familiarity with EHS, chemical safety, or regulatory compliance; software-plus-services, advisory, or content offerings; Agile/Scrum; APIs, integrations, customer implementations, or complex enterprise workflows
