Job Description
Product Manager leading strategy, requirements, and launches for Cotiviti’s healthcare risk adjustment and quality software products. Managing clinical, claims, and eligibility data across cross-functional teams.
Responsibilities:
- Define and execute the product strategy and roadmap
- Deliver product market requirements documents with prioritized features and justifications
- Work with AI tools to create product requirements and prototypes
- Maintain expertise regarding competitors
- Collaborate across teams within the company
- Develop core product positioning and messaging
- Gather requirements and feedback from customers
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to develop sales tools
- Propose an overall budget to ensure product success
- Briefly train the sales force at quarterly sales meetings
- Lead product development, strategy, and performance within an assigned business unit
- Manage clinical and claims data across products to enable risk adjustment and quality software and service programs
- Lead cross-functional collaboration and influence business decisions without direct authority
- Build team consensus to bring products to market and manage their lifecycle
- Complete responsibilities outlined in annual performance reviews or goal setting
- Complete special projects and other assigned duties
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or another field demonstrating technical expertise, or equivalent work experience
- 2+ years of relevant professional experience
- 2+ years of experience with health plan data types, including claims, clinical chart, and eligibility data
- Strong analytical and product management skills
- Thorough understanding of interpreting client business needs and translating them into application and operational requirements
- Demonstrated success defining and launching web-based services and products
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact professionally with diverse groups, executives, managers, and subject matter experts
- Technical background with experience in software development
- Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Access, and database interaction capabilities
- Medicare Advantage or other healthcare experience preferred
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a sense of urgency
- Ability to handle multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines
- Ability to work within a matrixed organization
- Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation
- Must provide a dedicated, secure work area
- Must provide high-speed internet access/connectivity and office setup and maintenance
- Ability to travel as assigned by Leadership (10–15%)
- Ability to move equipment weighing up to 10 lbs. for presentation setup
- Ability to remain stationary, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods
- Ability to perform repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, and/or fingers
