Job Description
Product Owner I responsible for delivering customer-focused product increments in financial services. Aligning vision with management, creating backlogs, and improving delivery processes.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that a development team is creating value for the organization through the delivery of customer-focused product increments
- Align with other Product Owners and senior management to follow a product vision
- Create and maintain a prioritized product backlog
- Manage delivery blockers and continuously assess customer feedback
- Assess how the product or the delivery process can be continuously improved
- Contribute to a positive work environment by embodying Agile principles of transparency, collaboration, and engagement
Requirements:
- Undergraduate degree and/or product certificate
- 7+ years relevant experience
- 3-5 years Product Owner or Agile related delivery experience
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification and project management experience considered an asset
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) certifications or experience operating in scaled agile delivery considered an asset
- Experience in credit risk and credit cards (Credit Decisioning Process)
- Experience in JIRA, Power Curve Origination and/or ADM
- Strong communication skills
- Independent worker/self-starter
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
