Job Description

Production Center Manager overseeing First American’s global title production operations. Managing teams, workflows, costs, quality, customer service levels, and strategic improvements.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and manage day-to-day operations of a Production Center in title production operations
  • Direct and manage production processes and employees domestically and globally
  • Develop short-term and long-term goals and objectives
  • Apply technical knowledge of process workflow and FAST/electronic imaging databases
  • Deliver business segment goals, team and management performance, appraisals, salary administration, incentives, corrective action, and hiring of qualified lead candidates
  • Communicate production changes, process improvements, and initiatives
  • Develop strategic plans with the Executive Regional Production Director
  • Ensure teams understand roles and responsibilities through clear goals and communication
  • Drive problem-solving activities and informed operational decisions
  • Improve product quality, cost, and customer cycle-time service levels
  • Work with the Business Unit Financial Organization and ERPD to improve unit cost performance
  • Analyze monthly P&L and unit cost data
  • Hire, train, and develop subordinates
  • Provide feedback, delegate tasks, and identify training needs
  • Travel to customer sites as needed
  • Drive cross-training and increase outsourcing volumes with global operations
  • Provide input on operational plans and strategic business initiatives

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 6–10 years in title production
  • At least 2 years operating in a managerial/leadership position
  • Integrity, honesty, excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to consistently meet deadlines and drive results
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced production environment
  • Effective interpersonal skills; experience working with offshore teams is a plus
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office products
  • Efficient use of FAST and Crystal Reports
  • Knowledge of process workflow and electronic imaging databases such as DATATREE and DATATRACE
  • Ability to travel to customer sites as needed
