Job Description
Professional Services Project Manager leading and managing implementations of SimpliGov's platform for government clients. Ensuring client satisfaction and successful project delivery within budget and timelines.
Responsibilities:
- Leads end-to-end project delivery for SimpliGov platform implementations, from kickoff through go-live and post-launch support.
- Serves as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring clear communication, accountability, and client satisfaction.
- Defines project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.
- Develops and manages detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations.
- Manages internal teams including business analysts, solution engineers, and technical consultants.
- Identifies and manages project risks and issues, escalating as needed.
- Conducts regular project status meetings and provide updates to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Ensures projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Contributes to continuous improvement of implementation methodologies and best practices.
- Support the development of Statements of Work (SOWs) and change orders.
- Leverages project management software to create dashboards, reports and automated follow ups.
- Leverages AI to identify risks and late tasks.
Requirements:
- 4+ years of experience managing software implementation or SaaS projects, preferably within Professional Services or consulting environments.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid).
- Proven ability to manage multiple client-facing projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional client relationship and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience using project management and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, Asana, Confluence).
- Preferred: Experience working with or for government agencies or public sector clients.
- Knowledge of business process automation or no-code/low-code platforms.
- PMP, CSM, or equivalent project management certification.
