Job Description
Project Engineer II leading solid rocket motor design, manufacturing, and delivery projects. Coordinating integrated teams, schedules, budgets, resources, and technical customer requirements for aerospace and defense products.
Responsibilities:
- Lead or coordinate project planning, resourcing, staffing, progress reporting, and troubleshooting across multiple programs
- Lead an Integrated Project Team (IPT) to design, develop, manufacture, and deliver products
- Work with engineering management to plan, staff, and execute projects of all sizes
- Serve as the engineering interface to program management, senior leadership, and customers
- Ensure project results meet technical quality, reliability, schedule, and cost requirements
- Perform engineering design evaluations and complete projects within budget and scheduling constraints
- Review industry policies and procedures for data accuracy, security, and regulatory compliance
- Review production, malfunction, and maintenance reports to determine or address problems
- Provide technical support for the engineering process
- Design, implement, and communicate operational plans for completing projects
- Monitor progress and performance against project plans
- Resolve operational problems and minimize delays
- Identify, develop, and gather resources necessary to complete projects
- Prepare engineering designs and work specifications
- Develop project schedules, budgets, and forecasts
- Select materials, equipment, project staff, and external contractors
Requirements:
- Associate's Degree and 2–4 years' experience
- Engineering degree required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods
