Job Description
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner providing tele-psychiatry, medication management, and talk therapy through Lavender’s online mental health practice. Serving Illinois clients with flexible remote scheduling.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial evaluations
- Collaboratively develop treatment plans for medication, therapy, or both
- Proactively follow up with clients at least monthly
- Assess efficacy of recommended interventions and provide ongoing care until treatment goals are achieved
- Provide various modalities of talk therapy
- Perform tele-psychiatric visits for clients based in Illinois
- Build a personal schedule within operating hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week
Requirements:
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Active Illinois Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License
- ANCC Board Certification
- Active Illinois DEA
- 2+ years of experience working in adult mental health
- Strong assessment skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Ambitious, client-centric work ethic
- Must have own computer
- Must have a quiet, professional space for tele-psychiatry appointments
- Minimum commitment of 16 hours per week
- Comfortable providing various modalities of talk therapy
- Available Monday to Friday with weekend availability
