Job Description

Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner providing tele-psychiatry, medication management, and therapy to Indiana clients. Developing treatment plans and monitoring ongoing mental healthcare remotely for Lavender.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct initial evaluations with clients
  • Collaboratively develop treatment plans for medication, therapy, or a combination of both
  • Proactively follow up with clients at least monthly to assess efficacy of recommended interventions
  • Provide ongoing care until treatment goals are achieved
  • Provide combined medication and therapy appointments
  • Provide various modalities of talk therapy
  • Perform tele-psychiatric visits for clients based in Indiana
  • Build a personal schedule within operating hours of 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., seven days a week
  • Work collaboratively with advanced practice nurses and the broader support team

Requirements:

  • Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
  • Active Indiana Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner License
  • ANCC Board Certification
  • 2+ years of experience working in adult mental health
  • Strong assessment skills
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities
  • Ambitious, client-centric work ethic
  • Must have own computer and a quiet, professional space to take tele-psychiatry appointments
  • Indiana Nurse Practitioner License required
  • Indiana DEA Certification required
  • Weekend availability
  • Ability to provide various modalities of talk therapy
  • Minimum commitment of 16 hours per week
