Job Description
QA Engineer owning testing and release processes for Carbmee’s AI-powered carbon management platform. Ensuring reliable enterprise software deployments that help companies manage carbon emissions.
Responsibilities:
- Define, own, and evolve QA and release management processes
- Develop and maintain lightweight, scalable manual and automated testing practices
- Coordinate and lead testing efforts across cross-functional teams
- Ensure quality gates are respected without blocking velocity
- Own release planning and ensure smooth, predictable rollouts
- Monitor production issues and improve observability and response processes
- Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations to ensure stable, well-tested releases that meet standards
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in QA, Release Management or similar roles
- Experience in a SaaS or B2B environment
- Comfortable designing and running both manual and automated testing workflows
- Solid grasp of release orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and managing staged deployments
- Structure, clarity and accuracy in planning and documenting processes
- Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with product and engineering
- Proactive mindset; ability to spot risks early, suggest process improvements, and advocate for the user
- Clear and effective communication, including raising issues and writing test plans
- Passion for business sustainability, carbon emissions management, and climate tech
