Job Description

QA Engineer owning testing and release processes for Carbmee’s AI-powered carbon management platform. Ensuring reliable enterprise software deployments that help companies manage carbon emissions.

Responsibilities:

  • Define, own, and evolve QA and release management processes
  • Develop and maintain lightweight, scalable manual and automated testing practices
  • Coordinate and lead testing efforts across cross-functional teams
  • Ensure quality gates are respected without blocking velocity
  • Own release planning and ensure smooth, predictable rollouts
  • Monitor production issues and improve observability and response processes
  • Collaborate with engineering, product, and operations to ensure stable, well-tested releases that meet standards

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in QA, Release Management or similar roles
  • Experience in a SaaS or B2B environment
  • Comfortable designing and running both manual and automated testing workflows
  • Solid grasp of release orchestration, CI/CD pipelines, and managing staged deployments
  • Structure, clarity and accuracy in planning and documenting processes
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams and collaborating with product and engineering
  • Proactive mindset; ability to spot risks early, suggest process improvements, and advocate for the user
  • Clear and effective communication, including raising issues and writing test plans
  • Passion for business sustainability, carbon emissions management, and climate tech
