Job Description

QA Engineer with DevOps skills at a global OSINT company. Responsible for testing and ensuring product reliability through various automated and manual testing methods in a remote setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Testing application installation and updates across VMs, bare-metal, and multiple Linux distributions
  • Debugging and verifying installation scripts
  • Developing and executing integration and performance tests in Python
  • Performing manual testing of REST APIs
  • Managing Docker containers: logging, restarts, configuration
  • Using Linux CLI for diagnostics, logging, and test environment setup
  • Working with NoSQL and SQL databases via CLI: MongoDB, Elasticsearch, MySQL, PostgreSQL
  • Setting up and managing local and virtualized test environments
  • Automating testing via scripting and CI/CD pipelines

Requirements:

  • Linux and Bash scripting: strong hands-on experience
  • Docker: confident container management in real workflows
  • Python: integration testing as a core practice
  • Django : ability to work with QuerySets, execute management commands, and inspect backend code to diagnose issues and validate system behavior.
  • API testing: both manual and automated
  • NoSQL databases: practical experience with MongoDB or Elasticsearch
  • Solid understanding of test design principles
  • English – intermediate level or higher
  • Russian – advanced level or higher
  • Basic DevOps experience: CI/CD, environment provisioning
