Job Description
QA Lead validating settlement integrity, payment flows, and RPC security for an AI-driven real-money platform. Building traceable test coverage and leading a QA pod.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the test strategy for a real-money platform and settlement engine
- Design coverage proving settlement math is correct and cannot leak, double-pay, or drift
- Test the closed-loop money-movement path end to end and verify full auditability
- Drive security testing at the RPC / SECURITY DEFINER layer
- Verify 21+ age gating and identity verification before funds move, subject to Persona credential availability
- Author a traceable test-case library from scratch
- Establish the shared defect tracker using Linear or Jira
- Report defects with precise reproduction steps and re-test after remediation
- Coordinate sandbox testing across OpenNode and Resend
- Lead the CALL-IT pod
Requirements:
- Senior QA / test-engineering experience on systems handling money, transactions, ledgers, or settlement
- Strong SQL / Postgres, ideally including stored-procedure or SECURITY DEFINER function testing
- Experience testing payment, settlement, ledger, or wallet flows
- Working knowledge of Next.js / API-driven web apps and how to test an RPC layer
- Ability to design coverage where none exists and lead a small pod
- Rigorous, reproducible defect reporting in clear written English
- Fintech, payments, iGaming, or testing background
- Familiarity with Supabase and Vercel
- Exposure to KYC / identity-verification flows and age-gating
- Understanding of Bitcoin / Lightning settlement, such as OpenNode
