Job Description
QA Manager testing Hyatt’s native mobile applications for global hospitality operations. Establishing quality standards, manual testing procedures, and automation-first strategies across Agile product teams.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with product, design, and development teams to communicate problem impacts and understand business requirements
- Develop and establish quality assurance measures and testing standards for new development and enhancements
- Provide guidance to subordinates within established company policies
- Analyze workflow, delegate projects, and manage team workload
- Attend architecture meetings to ensure projects meet standards and architecture meets project needs
- Identify and resolve enterprise-level technology and process issues, especially product test coverage and effectiveness
- Communicate test progress, test results, and application-change quality across management levels
- Track multiple test executions simultaneously and synthesize results
- Direct and improve a small team
- Work with product and design leads to translate ideas into technical solutions
- Organize and lead technical meetings to reach inter-group consensus
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience developing and manually testing database-driven, native mobile apps
- BS in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience
- Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools like Jenkins
- Demonstrable skills in manual testing methodologies and practices
- Experience working in agile environments embracing DevOps and Continuous Delivery practices
- Familiarity with mobile application development and testing processes and tools for iOS and Android
- Ability to analyze workflow and delegate projects to team members
- Ability to work with minimal supervision and direct and improve a small team
