Job Description
QA Tester owning quality for Stratosphere Games’ AAA mobile games. Designing test cycles, analyzing player feedback, and managing risks across development teams.
Responsibilities:
- Be responsible for the overall quality of all aspects of the game
- Play the game and be part of the community, incorporating player feedback into tasks
- Create testing plans and checklists and discuss them with the team and responsible leads
- Create reports and educate departments and colleagues about the game’s quality status
- Maintain high internal QA standards
- Work with multiple internal and external test teams
- Seek opportunities to improve processes and working style
- Create and execute training to increase product knowledge across employees
- Evaluate, implement, and use bug-tracking tools to analyze game or feature metrics
- Inform stakeholders and facilitate decision-making at all levels
- Use data to develop risk assessment profiles and identify major risks in a fast-paced environment
- Communicate with the community manager about player feedback
- Communicate with the team about current game development status to manage and plan tasks and test cycles
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills in English (German is a bonus)
- Passion and interest to play video games
- Understanding how games work
