Job Description
Quality Assurance Analyst developing and executing test cases for healthcare software. Collaborating with teams to ensure quality in a fast-paced remote setting.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and execute detailed test cases for weekly software releases.
- Validate end-to-end clinic workflows including scheduling, patient management, billing, charting, reporting, and other operational modules.
- Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and ensure release quality.
- Conduct smoke testing and release validation prior to production deployments.
- Ensure all releases meet usability, functionality, and performance expectations.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in software quality assurance, testing, or a related role
- Understanding of UX/UI design principles and user-centered thinking is a strong asset
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, and bug tracking workflows
- Experience testing web and/or mobile applications across different devices and browsers
- Ability to clearly document, reproduce, and communicate issues to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Linear, Postman, GitHub, or similar platforms is an asset
- Experience with automated testing frameworks is considered an asset
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
