Job Description

Quality Assurance Specialist validating Omnissa’s Workspace ONE UEM platform, printer workflows, and IoT device management. Leading end-to-end testing, release readiness, automation strategy, and quality initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Customer Flow Program by engaging Support and Field teams to translate customer use cases into validation strategies
  • Define end-to-end test strategies for major features and architectural changes
  • Act as the quality gatekeeper to eliminate blind spots
  • Own release readiness for key UEM modules, including test pipelines, risk assessment, and Go/No-Go technical confidence
  • Create technical playbooks and best-practice guides for Support and Solution Engineering teams
  • Influence the automation roadmap using AI-assisted tools and customer workflow requirements
  • Own end-to-end quality for Workspace ONE Printer & IoT device management across legacy connector and modern MQTT/AWS IoT architectures
  • Validate printer and IoT workflows from enrollment through decommissioning

Requirements:

  • Deep architectural understanding of UEM/MDM platforms such as Workspace ONE, Intune, or JAMF
  • Understanding of enrollment pipelines, policy engines, compliance state machines, certificate lifecycle, and OS-level MDM protocols
  • Ability to understand interactions among identity, endpoint security, and network configurations in hybrid-cloud environments
  • Track record of embedding testability and observability into product architecture during design
  • Strong root-cause analysis skills
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to developers and customers
  • Ability to validate printer enrollment via ZPL/OEM provisioning files and MQTT-based staging workflows
  • Experience with device certificate issuance, auto-renewal against a configured Certificate Authority, AWS IoT delivery, and revocation during enterprise wipe flows
  • Ability to test firmware push/pull workflows via MQTT or OEM connectors
  • Familiarity with connector-to-MQTT migration testing, device list view migration, and backward compatibility
  • Ability to verify printer/IoT telemetry flows into Workspace ONE Intelligence via ETL and validate alerts and dashboards
  • Understanding of scheduled sampling/check-in synchronization flows
  • Ability to collect device-side, IoT service, and broker logs for troubleshooting
  • 8+ years of hands-on engineering experience in Quality, Platform, Systems Engineering, or Solutions Architecture within End-User Computing or enterprise SaaS
  • Leadership experience mentoring others and driving quality initiatives across teams
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
