Job Description

Sentar cybersecurity engineer supporting DLA research and development efforts. Administering Okta infrastructure, operational systems, networking, automation, maintenance, and user support.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide cybersecurity engineering support for DLA Research & Development efforts
  • Perform project tasks involving specialized cybersecurity challenges
  • Apply electronic processes, methodologies, and technical solutions to cybersecurity requirements
  • Analyze information security requirements and resolve workflow, organizational, and planning challenges
  • Support planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems
  • Plan, develop, install, configure, maintain, and support DLA’s Okta environment and associated network software
  • Organize and direct configuration, operation, and ongoing administration of DLA’s Okta infrastructure
  • Analyze and resolve end-user software and connectivity issues
  • Perform capacity planning and performance analysis
  • Recommend system configuration changes and upgrades
  • Develop and implement automated tools and scripts
  • Create and maintain system administration procedures and documentation
  • Conduct system administrator training and skills assessments
  • Provide end-user training and technical support
  • Recommend technology solutions aligned with business objectives and strategic direction
  • Provide local and remote maintenance support for operational systems within the DLA Okta environment
  • Perform system maintenance, upgrades, and new server and application installations
  • Direct system administrators supporting daily system administration, resource optimization, and user support
  • Apply advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing and fault tolerance

Requirements:

  • Secret clearance
  • Ten (10) years of relevant Information Technology experience
  • Five (5) years of relevant Operational Technology (OT) experience
  • Experience analyzing cybersecurity and information security requirements
  • Experience applying technical methodologies to resolve system and technology-related cybersecurity challenges
  • Experience providing security engineering support for planning, design, development, testing, demonstration, and integration of information systems
  • Experience with DLA’s Okta environment and associated network software
  • Advanced technical knowledge of application networking, including load balancing and fault tolerance
