Job Description
RACF Mainframe Security Engineer securing Huntington Bank’s IAM capabilities and mainframe technologies. Leading RACF operations, incident response, architecture alignment, and security engineering delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver and sustain Identity and Access Management capabilities across the bank
- Participate in day-to-day operations and maintenance of the RACF security engineering team and associated systems
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity solutions
- Consult with IAM, Enterprise, and Application Architects to refine mainframe technology work in alignment with established designs and patterns
- Assist with vendor relationships and evaluations or recommendations for new vendors and technologies
- Provide leadership and guidance to a team of Mainframe Engineers
- Foster continuous learning, skill development, and collaboration within the Role Engineering team
- Lead responses to RACF-related security incidents and implement corrective actions
- Work with the Portfolio Manager to deliver IAM and RACF program strategy, roadmap, objectives, and milestones
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Associate's degree or 4+ additional years or equivalent experience
- 6+ years of experience in Information Security
- 6+ years of experience gathering requirements and successfully delivering RACF security and mainframe technologies
- Professional experience working as a RACF Administrator preferred
- Experience in production support and design of cybersecurity technologies preferred
- Operational experience with security technologies preferred
- Experience delivering and sustaining cloud IAM lifecycle across AWS, Azure, and GCP preferred
- Experience implementing zSecure capabilities, including zAlert preferred
- Experience with SIEM products for reports and dashboards supporting a Mainframe Governance program preferred
- Experience building RACF reports in zSecure to support database authenticity preferred
- Experience onboarding and decommissioning applications into RACF structures preferred
- Experience administering IAM, access controls, security, and risk management at scale preferred
- Extensive knowledge of SSO, MFA, Active Directory, PKI, privileged accounts, and integration APIs preferred
- Preferred certifications: CISSP, CISM
