Job Description
React Developer building wellbeing applications for TELUS Digital’s global health platform. Developing React components, integrating GraphQL and Apollo, and collaborating across software teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop React components aligned with the health and wellbeing vision
- Collaborate on GraphQL and Apollo functionality for fluid data flow
- Maintain code excellence and platform reliability
- Roll out health technology innovations
- Participate across the software development life cycle, including solution design, coding, testing, and deployment automation
- Collaborate with web, iOS, Android, QA, infrastructure, and product teams
- Contribute to distributed data storage, processing, and performance improvements
- Help teammates solve problems, build new things, and share knowledge
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in front-end development
- Knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+)
- Knowledge of ReactJS and Redux or Apollo
- Capability in Sass (SCSS)
- Knowledge of Git workflows and best practices
- Experience integrating with RESTful APIs
- Experience releasing React applications to the Apple Store and Google Play Store
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn and help teammates
- Communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to mentor colleagues
- Bonus: exposure to TypeScript, GraphQL, and Jest
- Bonus: knowledge of Webpack or Vite
- Bonus: knowledge of web application security best practices
- Bonus: exposure to AWS or Google Cloud services
- Bonus: understanding of localisation tools such as Lokalise
