Job Description
Regional Sales Executive growing Distinguished Programs’ Fine Art & Collectibles insurance program. Building broker relationships and driving profitable premium growth across the Northeast U.S.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a business plan maximizing new business production
- Create new customer relationships and deepen relationships with existing customers
- Identify retail agencies and brokers with potential customers for company products
- Consult with retail brokers face to face monthly to educate them on underwriting appetite
- Conduct weekly prospecting calls to existing and potential agents and brokers
- Gather and document competitive intelligence on other markets and broker usage
- Input prospecting activity into CRM software
- Participate in insurance and fine art/collectible networking events
- Collaborate with Sales and Underwriting teams on cross-selling opportunities
- Engage industry influencers to promote products and services
- Attend directed industry events to maximize new business opportunities
- Develop current and future Affinity & Industry Partnerships to drive premium growth
- Provide consultative expertise in Fine Arts and Collectibles insurance
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of insurance experience
- Proven ability to sell P&C insurance at a retail or wholesale level
- Property and Casualty broker’s license in state of domicile
- Relationships with retail brokers and agents in assigned territory
- Ability to understand and maintain personal sales ratios, with insight into results and improvement areas
- Thorough knowledge of applicable coverage, policy language, and risk management concepts
- Working knowledge of Salesforce or similar CRM
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Sync, Windows, Outlook, Word, Excel, and enterprise software
- Working knowledge of insurance pricing and rating concepts
- Knowledge of claims operations and loss control operations
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Authorization to work in the United States for any employer
