Job Description

Registered financial customer service professional answering retirement-plan inquiries for Empower, a financial services company. Processing transactions and guiding participants through account and loan services.

Responsibilities:

  • Answer incoming telephone inquiries regarding retirement plans from participants, employers, and third-party plan specialists
  • Provide general account information and address questions about contributions, withdrawals, account changes, products, and taxes
  • Process financial transactions at callers’ request
  • Explain past returns in comparison to the economic environment in accordance with FINRA / SEC guidelines
  • Assist participants with automated voice response system and website navigation for financial transactions and loan initiation
  • Run disbursement quotes
  • Respond to managerial feedback
  • Attend meetings and training sessions

Requirements:

  • Associate degree in business or related field preferred
  • With no degree, an additional one to two years directly related experience is required
  • 1 year of customer service experience, preferably in a financial service-related field
  • FINRA Series 6 and Series 63 required
  • FINRA fingerprinting required
  • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; employment visa sponsorship, including CPT/OPT, is unavailable
  • Reliable high-speed internet with a wired connection
  • Minimum service level of 50Mbps download and 10Mbps upload
  • Direct computer connection to a modem or router using an Ethernet cable
  • A place in the home to attend training and work without interruption
  • Overtime may be required based on business need
