Job Description

Part-time Research Operations Analyst supporting GenesisCare’s cancer research systems, reporting, and data quality. Improving clinical research operations remotely across Australia.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide first-line support for research systems, reporting, and user access issues.
  • Manage and prioritise operational system enhancements, requests, and change activities.
  • Support user acceptance testing, defect resolution, validation activities and system releases.
  • Maintain testing records, validation documentation, release notes and user communications.
  • Produce routine operational, financial and research reports for stakeholders.
  • Support the development and maintenance of Power BI dashboards and reporting solutions.
  • Perform data quality reviews, reconciliations, and consistency checks across research systems.
  • Monitor and improve data completeness and integrity within operational datasets.
  • Develop and maintain work instructions, process documentation, and support materials.
  • Deliver onboarding, refresher training, and practical support for research system users.
  • Identify opportunities to improve, streamline, and automate operational processes.
  • Support approved real-world evidence projects, data delivery activities, and clinical AI data validation initiatives.
  • Ensure all activities comply with GenesisCare SOPs, Good Clinical Practice (GCP), and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Work closely with Research Operations, Data, IT, Finance, and Research teams nationally.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications in information systems, business analytics, data analytics, health information management, health sciences, clinical research or a related field.
  • Experience supporting business, operational, clinical, or research systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate and resolve user issues.
  • Experience working with reporting tools, data analysis, or business intelligence platforms.
  • The ability to manage competing priorities and follow tasks through to completion.
  • Strong organisational, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Experience with Salesforce, Microsoft Power Platform, Power BI, data management, or project delivery would be highly regarded.
  • A collaborative approach and the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
  • A commitment to data quality, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Certain roles may require the successful candidate to show evidence that they have been vaccinated against or are not susceptible to specified vaccine preventable diseases (VPDs).
