Job Description
Residential Solar QA & Ops Specialist at IGS ensuring quality and compliance in solar projects. Evaluating systems, reviewing documentation, and training partners for efficient milestone processes.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate solar systems submitted for milestone review.
- Review and process a high volume of solar projects from outside parties to ensure compliance with IGS’ program requirements.
- Review shading reports, project photos, and other project specific documentation to ensure project quality.
- Become an expert user of IGS’ Solar 360 platform, capable of guiding external business partners through IGS’ milestone review process.
- Craft clear and concise instructional emails to provide external partners with detailed instructions on how to navigate IGS platform features, milestone rejections, and product information.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive training sessions to educate partners on common reasons for milestone rejections.
- Identify issues and create software tickets for IT support providing essential information and context to facilitate timely resolutions.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2 years of work experience
- Energy experience a plus
- Solar experience a plus
- Basic skills in all MS Office Applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, SharePoint)
- Familiarity with Solar Shading tools such as Aurora and Eagle View is a plus
- Ability to learn new technology platforms (partner portals, reporting portals, etc.)
- Basic computer skills, such as Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Word
- Ability to adapt, evolve and thrive in an ever-changing environment
- Exceptional organizational skills and document management skills with an attention to detail.
- Positive attitude, self-motivated, strong analytical skills, results oriented, driven.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to navigate complex resolutions.
