Job Description
Retail Reporting Specialist completing due diligence questionnaires for John Hancock mutual funds, ETFs, and closed-end funds. Supporting Retail Distribution through accurate reporting and proposal services.
Responsibilities:
- Complete cyclical due diligence questionnaires for mutual funds, ETFs, and closed-end funds offered through John Hancock Investment Management
- Support Retail Distribution teams by delivering accurate, timely, and high-quality questionnaire responses
- Collaborate with colleagues supporting institutional product offerings of Manulife Investment Management
- Complete periodic DDQs accurately and on time to support client retention efforts
- Prepare, edit, and complete monthly, quarterly, annual, and ad hoc questionnaires within established deadlines
- Coordinate all aspects of the DDQ production process to meet firm quality standards
- Research and validate responses using approved databases and other identified sources
- Partner with subject matter experts to source and confirm ad hoc responses
- Support additional team projects as required
- Report to the Director, Proposal Services, US & Asia
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 to 4 years of related experience in the financial services industry
- Highly effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work effectively with various levels of management and internal clients
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects, prioritize tasks, and consistently meet strict deadlines
- Excellent organization and project management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills and ability to identify inaccurate or inconsistent data
- Ability to work effectively and respectfully with people who bring diverse skills, backgrounds, and experience
- Self-motivated, entrepreneurial mindset, strong sense of ownership, and ability to work independently or collaboratively
- Proficiency with Adobe and Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with retail or mutual fund reporting preferred
- Bachelor's or Associate’s degree, preferably in business, marketing, communications, or a related field
- Experience using Qvidian or Loopio preferred
