Job Description
Sales data quality analyst improving Salesforce integrity for Motive’s fleet operations platform. Driving data investigations, monitoring, enrichment, hierarchy management, and actionable GTM insights.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively identify data issues and anomalies across accounts, contacts, and opportunities
- Use SQL and Salesforce reporting to perform root-cause analysis and quantify business impact
- Define sales data quality standards, including completeness, consistency, and accuracy thresholds
- Maintain data quality scorecards, rules, and documentation
- Build and maintain automated checks and recurring reports monitoring data health
- Surface prioritized issue lists and trends to GTM stakeholders
- Partner with regional teams on contact enrichment and account segmentation initiatives
- Validate data enrichment inputs and outputs against agreed standards
- Support the design and maintenance of parent–child account hierarchies in Salesforce
- Ensure account structures support roll-up reporting and planning
- Collaborate with Sales, RevOps, and GTM Strategy stakeholders
- Translate data quality findings into actionable recommendations tied to sales outcomes
- Create and maintain process documentation, runbooks, and data dictionaries
- Recommend process and system changes to reduce recurring data issues and improve data quality
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics) or equivalent practical experience in sales data, analytics, or operations
- Expert SQL proficiency for data validation, profiling, and reporting across large, complex datasets
- Strong working knowledge of Salesforce Accounts, Contacts, Opportunities, custom GTM fields, complex hierarchies, and segmentation logic
- Experience leveraging AI/ML and LLM-powered tools for analysis, documentation, and data quality investigations, with human judgment and validation
- Familiarity with data enrichment workflows and quality checks for third-party data sources
- Ability to perform structured root-cause analysis and connect technical issues to business impact
- Proven ability to prioritize issues based on impact, effort, and stakeholder needs
- Ability to communicate complex findings clearly and concisely to sales leadership
- Skill in managing stakeholder expectations, aligning priorities, and driving accountability for remediation plans
