Job Description

Altra sales representative managing specialty retail accounts and wholesale growth across Southern California. Executing sales, activation, and seasonal go-to-market strategies.

Responsibilities:

  • Cover the Southern California region within the Sales department
  • Work closely with Field Service Representatives, specialty retail accounts, and cross-functional Altra teams
  • Execute sales strategies, manage account relationships, and grow wholesale business
  • Report directly to the Sales Manager, West
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, seasonal, and annual revenue targets for run and outdoor specialty channels
  • Maintain current account relationships, secure seasonal and at-once orders, and develop new accounts
  • Adhere to strategic distribution guidelines set by Altra sales management
  • Procure orders through face-to-face and virtual processes using Altra and VF technologies and assets
  • Manage wholesale product flow to maximize sales revenue
  • Build account relationships, seasonal go-to-market and growth strategies, and wholesale activation strategies
  • Work with Field Service Representatives to build annual education programs, local activation calendars, and seasonal sales plans
  • Use consumer, market share, and POS data insights to sustain and grow retail business while addressing issues and opportunities

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of field sales, product, marketing, or retail experience
  • Proven ability to execute winning sales strategies and drive results
  • Demonstrated results in executing multiple projects and integrated plans on a seasonal basis
  • Quantified results in exceeding targeted results and expectations
  • Excellent process and organizational management skills
  • Excellent presentation skills, virtual and in person
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications: Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, Outlook
  • Demonstrated team player
  • Proven ability to build and maintain business-critical relationships/partnerships
  • Ability to travel 60%
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Ideal candidate resides in Southern California or Greater Los Angeles
  • Formal education in a related field is stated as beneficial but not required
