Job Description
Salesforce Engineer II designing scalable applications and integrations for Aledade, which helps independent primary care practices deliver value-based healthcare. Building secure, high-performance Salesforce solutions across clouds and custom platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement scalable, high-performance Salesforce and ecosystem solutions
- Build and maintain applications across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and custom Salesforce Platform applications
- Develop programmatic cross-module workflows and scripts to capture API payload data and pipeline performance metrics
- Diagnose Salesforce system anomalies and multi-platform data synchronization drift
- Select declarative or programmatic execution, using Apex and LWC when native Flows cannot meet scale requirements
- Implement custom integrations and core Salesforce features while minimizing risks from API deprecations and vendor updates
- Own integration issues, failing queues, and deployment locks during release cycles
- Deliver production-ready, bulkified code with automated testing, version control, health monitoring, and adherence to Governor and API limits
- Collaborate with Data Engineering, Security, Finance, partner teams, senior engineers, and other cross-functional stakeholders
- Resolve complex custom-code bugs and troubleshoot application alerts and system synchronization issues within SLAs
- Participate in repository-driven sandbox management, CI/CD pipelines, and peer code reviews
- Safely use and critically evaluate AI-assisted development tools
- Identify manual processes for automation and document application procedures and incident post-mortems
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- 4+ years of Salesforce Developer/Engineering experience
- Solid understanding of systems architecture and technical specifications aligned with business growth
- Strong critical thinking skills to diagnose systemic Salesforce anomalies and data sync issues across connected platforms
- Hands-on expertise in bulkified Flows, Apex, Triggers, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and REST-based web services
- Proficiency in Apex, Lightning Components, SFDC APIs, SOQL, SOSL, XML, JSON, and modern DevOps/CI/CD tools
- Fluency in utilizing AI-assisted development tools and critically evaluating AI-suggested SOQL query structures, collection iterations, and asynchronous patterns against execution limits
- Experience participating in technical solution evaluation, integration planning, and change control processes
- Relevant Salesforce certifications preferred, including Salesforce Administrator, Platform Developer I / II, or App Builder
- Sitting for prolonged periods of time; extensive use of computers and keyboard; occasional walking and lifting may be required
