Job Description

QA Engineer automating web and API tests for Jumio, a B2B company combating online identity fraud. Supporting reliable releases for identity verification, eKYC, and AML solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts for web applications using Playwright, Selenium, or similar automation frameworks
  • Create and execute API test suites using tools such as Postman, REST Assured, or equivalent testing frameworks
  • Design and execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory test cases based on business and technical requirements
  • Validate application functionality, backend services, APIs, and data flows across different environments
  • Identify, document, track, and verify defects, working closely with developers to ensure timely resolution
  • Execute automated test suites as part of CI/CD pipelines and investigate test failures to provide actionable feedback
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and stakeholders to ensure adequate test coverage and quality standards
  • Create and maintain test data, test environments, and supporting test documentation required for validation activities
  • Review application logs, monitor test results, and assist in troubleshooting issues across environments
  • Track testing progress, highlight quality risks, and provide clear release readiness recommendations

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 3+ Years of experience in test automation for web and API applications
  • Proficiency in Java or JavaScript programming languages
  • Hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, or equivalent web testing frameworks
  • Experience with API automation tools such as Postman or REST-assured
  • Good understanding of REST APIs
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and analytical skills
  • Basic knowledge of UNIX/Linux systems and scripting
  • Familiarity with AI/LLM-powered developer tools such as Claude, ChatGPT, or GitHub Copilot
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
