Job Description
SDET-III leading quality assurance initiatives for Conversational AI at Interface AI. Drive automated testing and mentor team members while ensuring high-quality deliverables in fintech applications.
Responsibilities:
- Lead Test Strategy: Define and implement comprehensive test strategies for Interface.ai’s Conversational AI platform, covering functional, performance, security, and scalability aspects.
- Build Automation Frameworks: Design and develop advanced, reusable test automation frameworks beyond Selenium, PlayWright, TestNG, Appium or RestAssured. We focus on custom solutions tailored to our AI-driven workflows.
- AI-Specific Testing: Create innovative testing approaches for NLP & Voice models, intent recognition, and dialogue flows, ensuring our virtual assistants perform flawlessly under real-world conditions.
- Innovation: We truly believe the next chapter of test automation with AI tools is going to be revolutionary, you will be part of this innovation lab to redefine Quality assurance in the new world
- End-to-End Ownership: Take full ownership of quality for critical initiatives, from crafting detailed test plans to executing them across CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, Github Actions).
- Mentor & Collaborate: Guide junior SDETs and developers in adopting AI tools and best practices, while partnering with cross-functional teams to solve system-wide quality challenges.
- Performance & Scale: Design and execute load, stress, and latency tests for our distributed systems, ensuring they withstand the demands of high-volume financial transactions.
Requirements:
- At least 5+ years in software testing, with 3+ years as an SDET building automation frameworks in a product or platform environment.
- High Proficiency in Java (or similar languages like Python) for test automation, with deep knowledge of design patterns and reusable components.
- Hands-on experience with testing tools like Selenium, Appium, RestAssured, TestNG, Cucumber, or equivalents.
- Strong understanding of microservices, REST APIs, and real-time systems (e.g., WebSockets, server-sent events).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Github Actions) and containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Exposure to testing AI/ML systems (e.g., LLM, NLP, Chatbots) or fintech applications is a big plus.
- Excellent written and verbal skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
