Job Description
Senior Accountant managing reconciliations, close, and digital-asset accounting for a high-volume cryptocurrency ATM and fintech business. Fully remote across LATAM or Europe.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full accounting cycle, including reconciliations, month-end close, and financial reporting
- Reconcile cash and transaction activity across a distributed network of digital currency kiosks
- Partner with operations and cash logistics teams to resolve discrepancies
- Support accounting for digital asset transactions across kiosk sales, OTC trading, online purchases, and digital wallet activity
- Make financial judgments in a high-transaction-volume environment while maintaining accuracy and compliance
- Integrate and optimize accounting tools and systems for a scaling, multi-location business
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, expense management, and vendor relationships
- Support compliance and regulatory financial reporting for a licensed money services business
- Use QuickBooks Online or similar accounting software, Slack, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Zoom, Google Meet, and Google Drive
- Stay current on emerging technologies and AI applications that improve accounting efficiency
Requirements:
- 3–5 years of accounting experience with U.S.-based companies
- CPA certification preferred
- Proven success managing full-cycle accounting in a high-transaction-volume or multi-location business environment
- Strong general ledger, reconciliation, and month-end close skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities across multiple business lines
- Experience making informed financial judgments in fast-paced, high-growth business settings
- Familiarity with cryptocurrency, digital assets, or regulated financial services/money services businesses is a strong plus, but not required
- Proficiency with cloud-based accounting software such as QuickBooks Online or similar
- Proficiency with Slack, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Zoom, Google Meet, and Google Drive
- Experience with cash management or treasury reconciliation tools is highly desirable
- Exposure to cryptocurrency exchanges, wallets, or crypto-specific accounting platforms is a bonus
- Awareness of AI use cases in accounting is a plus
- Full professional fluency in English, written and verbal
- Strong communication and collaboration skills across digital channels
- Proactive, solutions-oriented self-starter with excellent time management, organization, and independent problem-solving skills
- Ownership, openness to feedback, adaptability, integrity, and curiosity
- Must be currently based in Latin America (LATAM) or Europe
