Job Description

Senior Analyst supporting BD’s medical technology business with forecasting, dashboards, market models, and commercial insights. Enabling U.S. sales and marketing strategy through analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide business insights and analytics to enable the US commercial organization to develop and deliver strategic objectives
  • Execute day-to-day analytical and insight-generation needs of the business
  • Support demand forecasting and revenue projections for AOP, annual budgeting, quarterly projections, and monthly sales performance analysis
  • Support development and annual updates of market models
  • Produce periodic dashboards tracking leading and lagging indicators for regional and global management processes
  • Provide SKU-level master data for distributor and sales team requests
  • Develop and implement proactive data-cleansing processes to ensure data quality
  • Optimize and automate portfolio tools to provide accurate, timely, usable data and visualize trends
  • Support channel management, including DIOH analysis and reporting, incentive tracking, channel marketing program analysis, and channel projection strategy and ROI analysis
  • Provide actionable insights on customer buying trends across GPOs, NRLs, and Alternate Sites
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting to marketing, sales, and key business partners
  • Work cross-functionally as an individual contributor supporting multiple functions in the ADX North America region

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5+ years of experience in an analytical role supporting commercial operations, marketing, and sales, ideally in a downstream capacity
  • Excellent analytical capabilities in Excel, Access, or SAS with solid business acumen
  • 10% travel required
  • Preferred: Bachelor's Degree major in technical field or engineering, business, or marketing
  • Preferred: Industry experience in laboratory industry, medical devices, or diagnostics
