Job Description
Azure Data Architect designing secure, scalable Azure warehouses, lakes, and pipelines for IT services company Exavalu. Leading ingestion, governance, and big-data processing architecture.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end design of cloud data warehouses, data lakes, and data pipelines
- Connect business goals with technical execution
- Architect, build, and maintain complex real-time and batch data pipelines using Azure Data Factory, Python/PySpark, and Databricks
- Design and implement modern data warehouse solutions, data models, and data lakes for performance and scalability
- Ingest, cleanse, and transform data from diverse sources into structures for analytics
- Implement security features including role-based access control, data encryption, and governance via Azure Purview
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience with a robust hands-on background in Azure data environments
- Experience building scalable data warehouses, lakehouses, and storage systems using Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, and Azure Data Lake
- Experience creating batch and real-time data ingestion streams using Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, and Event Hubs
- Experience optimizing big data processing with Azure Databricks and Microsoft Fabric
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate or Azure Solutions Architect Expert
