Job Description
Senior Backend Developer building scalable Python backend systems with AWS, Kubernetes, and microservices. Supporting digital transformation through secure, reliable technology solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and maintain robust backend applications using Python
- Design and implement scalable, efficient microservices architectures
- Use AWS services such as ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, and RDS to design, develop, and deploy cloud-based applications
- Deploy and manage containerized applications with Kubernetes
- Ensure backend systems meet performance, reliability, security, business, and customer requirements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define system architecture and technical strategies
- Troubleshoot complex issues and optimize system efficiency to reduce downtime
Requirements:
- 7+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on backend technologies
- Proficiency in Python (Django experience is a bonus)
- Fluency in Ukrainian language
- In-depth understanding of Kubernetes (K8s) for container orchestration and management
- Experience developing and deploying cloud solutions using AWS services, including ECS, EKS, Lambda, S3, and RDS
- Strong background in microservices architecture and distributed systems
- Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases
- Strong debugging skills and understanding of performance optimization techniques
- Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and engineers
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (preferred)
- Experience with Docker (preferred)
- Familiarity with DevOps principles and practices (preferred)
