Job Description
Backend Developer designing and building digital products for Brazilian companies. Involves working with high-performance backend services and team collaboration in multi-disciplinary environments.
Responsibilities:
- Design and build high-performance backend APIs and services (architecture and infrastructure)
- Model data in PostgreSQL/Azure SQL with scalability in mind from the start
- Write automated tests as part of delivery
- Consider testability, observability, and security during design
- Integrate with enterprise legacy systems without disrupting operations
- Work with AI throughout planning, coding, testing, and debugging workflows
- Communicate clearly and effectively in asynchronous workflows
- Own commitments and raise issues early when blockers occur
- Configure CI/CD workflows
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary teams
Requirements:
- Minimum of 4 years of proven experience working as a backend developer.
- Advanced proficiency in Python OR C# / .NET (ASP.NET Core).
- Experience with relational databases, specifically PostgreSQL or Azure SQL.
- Familiarity with:
- React / React Native
- Next.js
- PostgreSQL or Azure SQL
- Docker / docker-compose
- GitHub or GitLab
- Automated testing
- Claude Code
