Job Description
Senior Business Analyst supporting Canadian pension administration solutions at Neumo. Gathering requirements, configuring CPAS systems, managing clients, and assuring compliant implementations.
Responsibilities:
- Work as part of a support delivery team analyzing and gathering requirements, enhancing configuration, training, improving business processes, and ensuring client satisfaction
- Liaise between pension clients and the programming team to deliver effective solutions meeting client business needs
- Analyze customer requirements and information/data
- Understand client pension business needs and identify appropriate solutions
- Gather, analyze, validate, and document business and system requirements
- Bridge business and IT groups and support technology solutions aligned with enterprise architecture
- Design, modify, and create business processes for business transformation solutions
- Research and conduct fact-finding to support process and system decisions
- Provide input to improve efficiency and processes
- Maintain client relationships and liaise with clients, service providers, and programmers
- Provide daily client support during system development and implementation, including telephone support
- Participate in client status meetings, status reports, and meeting notes
- Manage multiple clients and tasks and prioritize work
- Send client correspondence
- Participate in upgrade and new implementation projects, including estimating and quoting work with programmers
- Conduct JAD sessions to collect business requirements
- Provide client training
- Analyze complex business and pension requirements, system modifications, enhancements, and error corrections
- Propose solutions and document functional specifications with programmers
- Analyze plan documents and prepare or peer-review specifications
- Draft release notes and update delivery documents
- Assist with monthly support and maintenance updates
- Follow CPAS standard practices and procedures
- Set up client and plan rules in CPAS v5 products with support
- Ensure legislative compliance and accuracy standards
- Formulate quality assurance standards/programs for client installations
- Document and maintain problem logs
- Write test plans for upgrades and changes
- Test templates, custom work, and defect fixes for system quality assurance
- Enter and update defects in the CPAS Quality system
- Upsell and encourage clients to configure additional CPAS functions
- Contribute to client invoicing through timely and accurate CPAS Quality system tracking
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5–7 years of Canadian pension or benefit-related experience
- Minimum of 5–7 years of systems analyst experience
- University degree or equivalent
- Designation or extensive experience/knowledge in pension plan administration (DB and/or DC), such as PPAC or CEBS course
- Business Analyst Certification
- Exposure to systems/application development
- Client management skills
- Leadership/management skills
- Willingness to travel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

- Advanced organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
