Job Description
Senior Business Analyst driving digital transformation, M&A, and AI initiatives at Gruve, an enterprise software services startup. Translating business needs into technology solutions and measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and drive digital transformation and M&A initiatives across the enterprise, from discovery through delivery
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from internal and external stakeholders
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, user stories, and process workflows
- Analyze business processes and recommend technology-driven improvements
- Identify and evaluate process optimization opportunities using Generative AI, AI agents, and workflow automation
- Prepare business cases, solution proposals, executive presentations, and project documentation
- Define project KPIs, track delivery against business objectives, and report progress to leadership
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies across cross-functional teams
- Support Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog prioritization, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
- Build relationships with business and engineering stakeholders to ensure alignment and adoption
- Stay current on emerging AI technologies and industry best practices, and share insights with the wider team
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (B.E./B.Tech) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, or a related discipline
- Full-time, two-year MBA from a premier business school
- 4–6 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Business Partner, AI Project Lead, Technology Consultant, Product Analyst, or similar role
- Strong understanding of Supply Chain, Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Agile/Scrum methodologies, and business analysis practices
- Hands-on experience in requirements gathering, process improvement, project management, and data analysis and reporting
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working with AI and Generative AI solutions, including LLMs, AI agents, Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT, Azure OpenAI, or similar technologies
- Prior exposure to M&A integration or large-scale enterprise transformation programs
- Working knowledge of IT infrastructure and cloud platforms
- Certifications such as PMP, Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), ITIL Foundation, or AI-related certifications
