Job Description
Senior Business Analyst translating VA crisis-response workflows into Salesforce requirements. Facilitating stakeholders, process modeling, Jira traceability, and UAT for the SF VCL platform.
Responsibilities:
- Elicit, document, and refine functional and non-functional requirements for the SF VCL Salesforce platform with VA stakeholders and the development team
- Facilitate requirements sessions with non-technical stakeholders and IT/technical teams, translating between them
- Build and maintain process models for complex crisis-response workflows and recommend efficient improvement models
- Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, and UAT
- Support change management activities for new releases and workflow changes
- Author and maintain user stories/tickets in Jira or an equivalent tool
- Link each user story/ticket to its source requirement to preserve end-to-end traceability from requirement to release
Requirements:
- Senior Business Analyst experience on large, complex development projects
- Expertise gathering, documenting, and refining functional and non-functional requirements
- Excellent communication skills with layman stakeholders and IT/technical teams
- Proficiency in process modeling for complex workflows and improvement models
- Strong analytical, change management, and problem-solving skills
- Experience using Jira or a comparable ticketing/requirements-management tool
- Salesforce Certified Business Analyst
- Salesforce Certified Strategy Designer
- Preferred: Experience with Health Cloud, Service Cloud, Public Sector Solutions, and Salesforce Government Cloud Plus
- Preferred: Prior experience on VA or other federal Salesforce implementations supporting Veteran-focused or crisis/behavioral-health programs
- Preferred: CBAP or equivalent business analysis certification
- Preferred: CompTIA Security+ Certified
- Preferred: DevOps/DevSecOps Certified
