Job Description

Senior Business Systems Analyst designing Salesforce architecture and GTM systems for Apollo.io, an AI-native revenue platform. Partnering across revenue teams on quote-to-cash infrastructure, automation, and AI-driven CRM capabilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Build knowledge of Apollo’s GTM business processes and technology stack
  • Maintain the systems architecture map and process flow diagrams
  • Serve as the primary GTM Systems partner for an assigned domain
  • Own ongoing systems support and incremental sprint improvements
  • Lead bi-weekly alignment and backlog grooming sessions
  • Partner with Sales leadership and Sales Operations to streamline renewals
  • Make and defend Salesforce architecture decisions
  • Partner with engineers on AI-driven GTM builds, including call coaching, deal scoring, demo automation, and AI-assisted CRM data capture
  • Support design, build, testing, rollout, and maintenance of quote-to-cash infrastructure
  • Refine the opportunity model for new business, upsell, and renewal opportunities
  • Own Salesforce initiatives and end-user support end to end
  • Build and maintain Salesforce automation using Flows, Apex, and LWC
  • Manage users, profiles, roles, permission sets, page layouts, fields, objects, and record types
  • Handle Salesforce data imports, exports, and upserts
  • Implement and administer integrated tools such as Chili Piper, Ironclad, and Gong
  • Promote Salesforce best practices and end-user adoption
  • Maintain thorough functional and technical systems documentation

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of business analysis or consulting experience
  • 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce administration or development experience
  • College degree in a technical field or equivalent work experience
  • Deep understanding of go-to-market processes across Marketing, BDR, Sales, and CS/Onboarding
  • Experience with Salesforce custom fields, custom objects, roles, profiles, permission sets, sharing settings, and automation
  • Proficiency with Salesforce Flow, Process Builder, and Data Loader
  • Ability to translate ambiguous business problems into scoped, well-designed solutions
  • Experience making and defending architecture decisions
  • Experience with end-to-end feature and system implementations, including requirements, vendor selection, design, configuration, QA/UAT, deployment, training, and communication
  • Experience with Agile methodology
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a high-growth, fast-paced environment
  • Strong logic, analytics, and problem-solving skills
  • Microsoft Excel power-user proficiency
  • Genuine fluency with AI-assisted development tools and AI-native GTM workflows
  • Ability to structure systems and data for reliable AI interpretation
  • Understanding of AI limitations, validation, testing, and production CRM data integrity
  • Salesforce Administrator certification, Trailhead account, Sales Cloud, CPQ, Service Cloud, 100+ user Salesforce environment, and high-growth company experience are nice to have
