Job Description

Clinical Product Lead shaping safe AI healthcare products for Docplanner, a global healthcare platform. Translating doctors’ workflows into product decisions and clinical quality standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Bring doctors’ real habits, preferences, workflows and administrative needs into the product
  • Interview doctors peer-to-peer and turn candid feedback into product decisions
  • Partner with Product on the roadmap and prioritization
  • Define clinical quality standards and intended outcomes for AI products
  • Review and improve prompts, model outputs, clinical templates, workflows and terminology
  • Identify clinical failure modes and define acceptable versus unacceptable outputs
  • Direct clinical evaluation, including test mix, specialties, populations, complexity, edge cases and thresholds
  • Bootstrap evaluation processes, tooling and annotation guidelines with a dedicated owner and clinical network
  • Translate model errors and clinician feedback into product and model improvements
  • Work with ML/LLM, Regulatory and PRRC teams to align intent, evidence, risks and controls
  • Build feedback loops with practising clinicians and the consultant-doctor network
  • Define how clinical-product expertise scales across products, teams and markets
  • Establish a clinical quality framework, evaluation sets and thresholds within six months

Requirements:

  • Medical degree required
  • Meaningful experience practising medicine
  • Strong understanding of clinicians’ day-to-day work
  • Experience helping build and ship a digital health, clinical software or AI product
  • Experience turning clinical problems into product decisions
  • Strong clinical judgment and ability to translate quality and safety into technical standards
  • Ability to build trust with doctors and obtain candid feedback
  • Clear, direct communication across clinical, product, technical, regulatory and leadership teams
  • Comfortable working at a senior, hands-on level in a fast-moving, international team
  • Active licensure and current clinical practice are not required, though recent or ongoing practice is valuable
  • Active use of generative AI and understanding of its potential and limitations
  • Hands-on prompting, evaluation, error analysis, human oversight or AI-assisted development experience is a plus
  • Bonus experience with ambient documentation, clinical templates, medical-knowledge systems, clinical coding, evaluation datasets or regulated Software as a Medical Device (SaMD)
  • Located in Spain or Poland with permission to work
