Job Description
Senior SAP Fioneer consultant designing data models and integration functionality for insurance transformation projects. Collaborating with Software Development and Sales to deliver financial-services software solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze clients' data management and reporting needs in the insurance industry.
- Design, build, and deploy functionality for data integration and data management.
- Create data models supporting the integration of analytical applications and reporting needs.
- Collaborate with SAP Fioneer Software Development and Sales teams.
- Assist clients with insurance transformation projects.
- Travel to meet the team on-site in Calgary or Toronto from time to time.
Requirements:
- A university degree or equivalent work experience is required.
- Possess 3+ years of professional experience in IT transformation projects.
- Initial experience in designing data management processes for the insurance sector.
- A solid understanding of the technical mapping, interfacing and modeling of FSI products.
- Basic experience in configuring one of the following SAP solutions: SAP FDS, SAP BW on HANA, or SAP BW/4HANA.
- Proficiency in data modeling with ABAP dictionary, SQL, SAP HANA, SAP BTP or another database is preferred.
- Exposed to AI agents and Claude code.
- Exhibit positive, customer-focused interpersonal skills and attitude.
- Willingness to travel (50%).
- Proficiency in both English (written and oral).
